Olaf Davis, a resident of Boone for twenty seven years, died at the home of his son John A. Davis, fifth and Carroll streets. Saturday morning. The deceased came to this country in 1869 and settled in Indiana. In 1874 he came to Boone county and resided here ever since. He was a member of the Swedish Mission church. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence and the remains laid to rest in East Linwood cemetery.
